The Fourth Franco-Dutch Strategic dialogue on European Universities Alliances was held on 24th March, 2026 at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague. The event brought together 17 alliances, diplomatic representatives, national agencies, the European Commission, and the Dutch and French ministries. The 120 participants engaged in policy discussions and thematic workshops to exchange views on the future of alliances and more generally on transnational HE cooperation. The discussions provided a reflection on the last seven years of development of the European Universities Initiative, to assess its impact, and formulate shared ambitions for the ongoing European policy and funding discussions.
Campus France was pleased to represent Future4Alliances at this event, present the project during the plenary session and moderate the carousel sessions dedicated to the funding of Alliances, together with a representative from FOREU4ALL.
